gets（三单） – getting（现在分词）- got（过去式）- got / gotten（过去分词）
get 是一个非常常见的动词，其意义也较多；主要有六种意思
- 表示 “得到，获得，取，拿”
I got a present from my sister.
我从姐姐那儿得到了一个礼物。
How did you get the book?
你是如何得到这本书的？
Can you get the map for me?
你能帮我拿一下那张地图吗？
- 表示“买到，购买” （初一课本有体现）
How much did you get for the dress?
这条裙子买成多少钱？
How much is the coat? I'll get/take it.
外套多少钱？我买了。
- get + adj. 作系动词，表示“变得”，相当于 become；
It's getting dark.
天快（变）黑了！
China is getting stronger and stronger.
中国变得越来越强大了。
- 表示“到达，抵达”
What time did you get to school?
你几点到的学校？
I got home at 7:30.
我7：30到家。
（下面短语部分重点讲解）
- 表示“理解，明白”
I didn't get the joke. Can you tell it again?

-Did you get the meaning?
-I got it.

- 表示“使/让…"
构成三种用法：
get sb. to do sth. 让某人做某事
get sth. doing 使某物…
get sth. done 使某物被…
Mom gets my sister to help me with homework.
妈妈让姐姐帮我辅导作业。
My uncle can get the machine working.
我叔叔能让机器运转起来。
I'll get my hair cut.
我要去理发（头发被理）。
初中关于get的常见短语：
- get up 起来，起床
Get up quickly, or you will be late for school.
快点起床，不然你上学要迟到了。
- get off 从…下来，下车
I am going to get off at the next stop.
我在下一个站下车。
- get on 上车
I saw the man get on the bus.
我看见那个人上了车。
- get on with sb. 与某人相处
She gets on well with her classmates.
她和她同学相处得很好。
- get to + 地点，到达/抵达…
等于 arrive in/at 或 reach + 地点
arrive in + 大地方（如：城市，国家等）
arrive at + 小地方（如：车站，超市，电影院等）
She got to the cinema 30 minutes ago.
She arrived at the cinema 30 minutes ago.
She reached the cinema 30 minutes ago.
她30分钟前就到电影院了。
当 get/arrive接副词here/there/home 时，省略介词；
I get/arrive/reach home early every day.
我每天都很早到家。
- get used to sth./doing 适应/习惯于…（强调变化，等于 become）
其原形短语为 be used to sth./doing 适应/习惯于…（强调状态）
He is getting used to the country life.
他正在逐渐适应乡村生活哦。
- get dressed 穿上衣服
It's not early now, get dressed.
天不早了，把衣服穿好。
类似短语：get lost，迷路，迷失
get 的用法较多，特别是其对应的短语，都需要理解掌握；
